From installation to your first AI-scored lead — this guide walks you through the full setup step by step.

SmartForm AI adds AI scoring, smart replies, and automation to your existing WordPress forms. You do not need to replace your form plugin — just connect the AI layer and start qualifying leads automatically.
Install and activate the plugin
Upload the SmartForm AI ZIP file in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then click Activate.
After activation, you should see SmartForm AI in your WordPress admin menu.
Validate your license
Go to the plugin license page and enter your NordicDataTools license key. Click Validate License to register this site.
Add your OpenAI API key
Go to the plugin settings and paste your OpenAI API key into the API field. Save your settings.
This key is used to score leads, generate summaries, and create AI-powered reply drafts.
Map your form fields
Select your form and map the important fields so SmartForm AI understands what each value means.
At minimum, you should map:
- Name
- Message
Run your first test lead
Submit a real-looking test message through your contact form. Then open the Leads screen and confirm that the lead was captured, scored, and summarised.
A successful test normally includes:
- A saved lead record
- An AI score
- An AI summary
- A generated or queued reply
